Fireworks

The other weekend I stopped by Whole Foods to pick up a few things and, as usual, got side-tracked with flowers. Spring is making its slow arrival, bringing with it favorite blooms. I selected a bunch of forsythia branches and a bundle of tulips, anticipating that the riot of color and explosion of line would be magnificent. And the full bloom did not disappoint!

I call this one my indoor fireworks display. In anticipation of summer fun, of course.
