Several weeks ago I was scrolling through Pinterest, one of my guilty pleasures, when I came upon a series of photos that captured my imagination and opened up yearnings. These photos were natural, yet ethereal. Practical, yet decadent. Real, yet whimsical. The lighting: perfect. I glanced at the name of the Pinterest board, and everything fell into place. The name? "Narnian."
Blair, from Wild and Precious, came up with this genius idea for a pin board, and it's every bit as gorgeous as you might imagine. The photos perfectly capture the first book in the Narnia series: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
I grew up with these books, so my head has its own imaginings of what Narnia must surely look like. These photos are about as close to those imaginings as it gets.
If you have a few minutes in which to escape, Narnian is a great place to go. I promise your imagination will go wandering through and out of the photos into another world. Thank you, Blair, for the inspiration!
And while we're on the subject, which Narnia book is your favorite? Mine was always The Horse and His Boy.
But The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is always a great Christmas read.
